Overview
Principal Security Engineer for AI Security & SecOps, leading AI-native security strategy, security automation, and orchestrated incident response.
What you'll do
- Own AI and agentic security tooling including Wiz AI Security Posture Management, AI Lens, runtime guardrails, and the AI Bill of Materials (AIBOM).
- Drive MCP and agent protection from visibility to active enforcement, and integrate model/AI supply-chain scanning into CI/CD.
- Build and run an AI red-teaming program aligned to OWASP LLM and Agentic Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
- Operationalize Wiz CNAPP, CSPM, and DSPM for cloud and data security posture and automate risk-based remediation prioritization.
- Develop detection-as-code and SOAR workflows to automate alert triage, enrichment, assignment, and remediation for well-understood risks.
- Act as incident commander for major incidents and own orchestration-level incident response lifecycle while MXDR handles frontline monitoring.
What you'll need
- 8 to 10+ years in hands-on security engineering or operations with depth in security operations, incident response, and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security posture and CNAPP tooling (Wiz strongly preferred) and with detection engineering.
- Demonstrated automation capability using SOAR, detection-as-code, and scripting with Python toward automated remediation.
- Experience securing AI/ML/LLM and agentic systems (or ability to ramp quickly).
- Experience managing third-party security partners, particularly MSSPs or MXDR providers.
- Expert knowledge of the incident response lifecycle (e.g., NIST) and experience acting as incident commander with SIEM and XDR depth.
