Principal Software Architect

Overview

Design and guide end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale SaaS applications, covering backend services, APIs, UI components, integrations, and cloud-native technologies.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end system architecture for backend services, APIs, and UI components.
• Define UI architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimization approaches.
• Guide frontend and backend technology choices.
• Review Low-Level Designs and ensure architectural decisions are implemented.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and team leads on technical strategy.
• Lead complex features or refactors and manage resulting changes.
• Mentor peers and support knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• 13+ years of experience with Python, Go, Node, Ruby, Java, or C#.
• At least 5 years of experience in an architecture role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale applications in cloud or SaaS environments.
• Experience with big data, messaging, real-time processing, storage, and delivery.
• Experience with microservices, event-oriented design, CI/CD, security standards, and compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and AWS serverless architecture.
• Experience with micro frontends and component-driven UI design.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• Understanding of security and networking implementation best practices.
