Principal Software Engineer - Identity Graph

Overview

Principal Software Engineer to build and lead a 0-1 Identity Graph platform for Fraud & Risk, enabling real-time identity resolution across multiple use cases.

What you'll do

• Own the technical vision and system architecture for the Identity Graph.
• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance synchronous read models for real-time decisions.
• Build data pipelines for multi-cadence hydration, real-time dynamic events, and batch enrichment.
• Implement strict privacy boundaries and secure PII handling from day one.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to align on architecture and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Establish production quality, resilience, and observability standards for a large-scale distributed platform.

What you'll need

• 8+ years experience designing, building, and operating high-scale distributed systems, graph databases, and complex data models.
• Deep hands-on expertise in a production-grade codebase in a modern programming language.
• Proven experience owning system architecture and leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to wrangle ambiguity and turn concepts into an actionable MVP.
• Experience mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and raising a team’s technical bar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
