Overview

Principal Member of Technical Staff (PMTS) / Software Architect role focused on leading architecture and technical implementation of critical, large-scale systems and delivering high-quality production software with AI in the development workflow.

What you'll do

• Lead architectural design and technical implementation of critical, large-scale systems.
• Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices.
• Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate into human workflows.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a shared system context repository of designs, constraints, and standards.
• Critically evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
• Lead end-to-end architecture, implementation, and scaling of full-stack and distributed systems.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical strategy.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in full-stack software development and large-scale system architecture.
• A demonstrated AI-first approach to engineering.
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor).
• Advanced prompt engineering skills for precise, structured prompts.
• Mastery of multiple programming languages and enterprise design patterns (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go, Node.JS, Scala, C#).
• Broad knowledge of web standards related to APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, WSDL, HTTP, JSON).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
