Staff Software Engineer, People Products

Overview

Staff Software Engineer for the People Products team, building end-to-end products and AI-native workflows that support the entire employee lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Build full-stack, end-to-end features across the People Products portfolio.
• Design and implement AI-native workflows with tools, evals, prompts, and products.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, recruiters, managers) to understand problems and iterate quickly.
• Make independent product and architecture decisions in a low-structure environment.
• Contribute ideas on team processes, what to build, and where applied AI can have leverage.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of relevant fullstack or product engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex, multi-month projects or teams as a tech lead or equivalent.
• Have shipped LLM-native features or applications.
• Ability to build big features independently and make architectural decisions.
• Be able to go from idea to production end-to-end without unblockers (designer/PM/architect).
• Comfort engaging directly with internal users and incorporating feedback quickly.

Details

• Hybrid policy: staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is available, with some role/candidate limitations.
• Annual compensation range: 320,000–405,000 USD.
