Principle Engineer-Technical Project Management

Principal Engineer in Technical Project Management at Verizon, leading enterprise-scale knowledge and learning platform projects with technical oversight.

What you'll do

• Lead the strategy and execution of technology projects for learning and content platforms.
• Act as a business-to-technical liaison to translate needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Design and implement GenAI/agentic AI solutions for semantic search and AI content assistants.
• Architect and integrate scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform for data processing and deployments.
• Develop prototypes using tools like GitHub Copilot and coding in languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Define reporting frameworks to measure effectiveness and ROI of new technology solutions.
• Manage projects in an Agile framework using Jira and Confluence.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or 4+ years of work experience).
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services related to AI/ML, LLMs/SLMs, analytics, and application hosting.
• Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle from requirements through deployment and measurement/ROI.
• Solid foundations in getting your own environment installed/configured and working with GitHub workflows.
• Experience creating RACI matrices, RAID logs, and project charters.

Details

• Hybrid role based in Hyderabad, India.
• Expectation of 3 days in office and 2 days working from home per week.
• Working hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.
