Overview
Principal Digital Solutions Engineer for Lilly’s Digital Manufacturing Engineering team in Hyderabad, designing and owning digital products for Lilly’s global manufacturing network.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, support, and continuously enhance digital solutions across Lilly Manufacturing.
- Own one or more DME-developed digital products, including roadmap, backlog, architecture, and lifecycle.
- Partner with the Rapid Innovation branch to mature validated prototypes into production-grade solutions.
- Drive deployment across global manufacturing sites, including onboarding, configuration, change management, and ongoing support.
- Provide direct technical support for owned solutions, including triage, root cause analysis, fixes, and release/change management.
- Leverage AI tools and platforms (e.g., Copilot services and Claude) to embed AI capability into manufacturing solutions.
- Develop and maintain production-quality Python code and analytics using Seeq and Power BI.
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
- Software development experience with strong working knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of manufacturing datasets and experience accessing/using IT, OT, and ET data sources.
- Experience leveraging data to solve problems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with validated systems.
- Experience in pharma or GMP industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related engineering/science field.
