Overview
Product Designer role partnering with Product Managers and Engineering to turn user problems into user journeys, testable experiences, and practical design direction.
What you'll do
- Partner with Product Managers to frame user problems and clarify desired outcomes.
- Translate problems and outcomes into user journeys, task flows, and interaction models.
- Build rapid AI-assisted prototypes using tools such as Figma or comparable options.
- Explore multiple design approaches, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
- Maintain a persistent clickable product demo and evolve demo scenarios for stakeholders.
- Create development references and handoff materials including annotated flows and edge cases.
- Partner with Engineering during implementation to review builds and close gaps.
- Support product storytelling with screenshots, workflow visuals, and demo recordings.
What you'll need
- 2-4 years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or a related role.
- A portfolio showing progression from user problem to journeys, alternatives, prototypes, and usable outcomes.
- Strong UX and product thinking, including simplifying complex workflows.
- Prototyping fluency in Figma and comfort using AI-assisted prototyping tools.
- Strong visual judgment to create polished, credible prototypes and demos.
- Clear communication and confidence to challenge and improve Product Manager thinking.
- Comfort partnering with Engineering to produce development-ready references.
