Product Engineer - Crushers

Overview

Execute mechanical engineering activities for crusher product development and customer-specific projects. Provide technical leadership while delivering compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions on schedule.

What you'll do

• Execute mechanical engineering tasks for product development and customer purchase order projects.
• Lead engineers, designers, and drafters throughout project execution.
• Review and approve 2D drawings, 3D models, and other engineering deliverables.
• Perform and review mechanical calculations to validate designs.
• Develop improved design solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Support manufacturing and operations teams with technical issue resolution.
• Travel to job sites and regional offices for installations, troubleshooting, and sales support.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of related experience.
• Postgraduate or graduate qualification in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• Experience designing industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Ability to lead and coordinate designers and drafters.

Nice to have

• Experience with mining equipment, crusher equipment, mining machinery, or bulk material handling systems.
• Familiarity with product development, value engineering, and standardization practices.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, sourcing, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Understanding of electrical and controls engineering requirements.
