Lead Product Engineer

Overview

Lead Product Engineer on an IP team developing digital and mixed-signal IP products focused on high-performance protocols and interfaces. Act as the primary interface between customers and Cadence R&D for pre-sales, pre-silicon integration, and post-silicon bring-up support.

What you'll do

• Support integration and customization of Cadence SERDES IP subsystems.
• Analyze and resolve complex subsystem application/implementation issues for customers.
• Support PHY and controller SOC integration reviews and respond to integration questions.
• Run RTL and gate-level simulations to verify functionality and assist with timing closure.
• Contribute to customer documentation and checklists.
• Support post-silicon bring-up and customer deployment activities.
• Use AI-powered tools/assistants for productivity, decision support, and customer deliverable quality.

What you'll need

• Experience with UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet, 112G or similar interface IP.
• Verilog RTL design and gate-level verification experience.
• Synthesis and STA experience (back-end experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with industry-standard DFT flows and test methodologies.
• Ability to read schematics and participate in SI/PI reviews.
• Knowledge of circuits such as PLLs, Tx/Rx equalizers, ADCs, and related non-idealities (jitter/noise).
• Case management experience (SFDC, Jira) and the ability to prioritize and manage technical reviews.
