Product Engineer II - Web

Overview

Tamara is hiring a Web Engineer II (Product Engineer II - Web) to build and enhance frontend applications and support backend integrations.

What you'll do

• Lead Agile methodologies and adhere to the Scrum framework.
• Collaborate with the Product team to translate requirements into frontend code.
• Partner with Backend, Mobile, and QA engineers to ensure backend integration and functionality.
• Define test cases and support automated and manual testing.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Use CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment to production.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on frontend development.
• Familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks; React JS experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript features including ES2023 updates and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Agile practices including pairing, TDD, CI, and CD.
• Knowledge of web performance and Web Vitals (Core Web Vitals, TTFB, TTI, FCP).
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of common web security vulnerabilities and debugging.
