Product Management Specialist

Overview

Senior Business Analyst in the Product Management team at S&P Cappitech Enterprise, focused on Regulatory Reporting solutions, with the potential to expand into data, insights and analytics delivery to the global marketplace.

What you'll do

• Produce structured analysis and design documents.
• Work with Development during the technical implementation phase and QA during testing to ensure implementation meets design and requirements.
• Oversee sanity and component testing and review test plans.
• Conduct public presentations of concepts and ideas.
• Identify options for potential solutions, including assessment of technical and business suitability.
• Work collaboratively with team members at all levels and complex stakeholder groups across geographical boundaries.
• Work creatively, propose ideas and contribute to working groups and team meetings.

What you'll need

• Knowledge or experience in Regulatory Reporting or Trade & Transaction Reporting of OTC / ETD Derivatives.
• 5-12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior Financial Services IT experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, requirement documentation, stakeholder management, use case definition and other Business Analysis techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Team player.
• Negotiation skills.
• Self-directed and highly motivated.

Nice to have

• Experience with regimes or jurisdictions such as CFTC, SEC, Canada, EMIR, FCA, MIFID II, ASIC, MAS, JFSA, HKMA, LBMA, South Korea.
• A basic understanding of OTC and ETD derivatives terms and principles.
• Understanding of ISO, FpML, XML Schemas, DTDs, XSL Transformation style sheets.
• Exposure to SQL, DB, object-oriented languages (general technology know-how), ISO 20022/XML/FpML/JSON/CSV.
• Familiarity with OTC derivatives, clearing and regulatory reporting of OTC transactions.
