Product Manager - Digital Brokerage Experience

Overview

Build and evolve Empower’s native digital brokerage experience across personal wealth and workplace retirement customers. Lead customer-focused product decisions that make complex investing information intuitive and actionable.

What you'll do

• Improve brokerage experiences for portfolios, positions, balances, activity, security research, trading, and order tracking.
• Identify opportunities to increase brokerage adoption, engagement, and customer value.
• Partner with design to simplify financial information and improve navigation and interaction patterns.
• Use research, behavioral data, experimentation, and market insights to identify needs and friction points.
• Translate customer, business, and technical needs into product requirements and priorities.
• Define success measures and optimize products across discovery, launch, and post-launch stages.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of product management or directly relevant digital product experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with engineering, design, research, and other cross-functional teams.
• Experience building or supporting consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, stakeholder-management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently drive product initiatives and deliver results.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital brokerage, investing, trading, or portfolio products.
• Experience with Self-Directed Brokerage Accounts or employer-sponsored retirement plans.
• Experience with brokerage infrastructure, clearing, or custody providers including Pershing.
• Experience working with legal, compliance, risk, or operations teams in regulated financial services.

Details

• Nationwide remote position.
• Base salary: $96,100–$135,700 per year.
