Overview
Own ideation and deployment of new models and products for Anthropic’s Research team, advancing frontier safe AI.
What you'll do
- Lead vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for frontier technologies.
- Partner with research to define, improve, and ship model capabilities.
- Identify nascent research that could become transformative products.
- Synthesize user insights into actionable requirements and evaluations.
- Understand the AI landscape and ecosystem to assess market capabilities.
- Work with diverse stakeholders across research and engineering teams.
What you'll need
- Deep passion and curiosity for AI and LLMs, using AI regularly.
- First-principles thinking to navigate ambiguity and find simple solutions.
- Strong AI/ML technical background and willingness to go deep on technical solutions.
- Working proficiency in Python and SQL with a data-driven mindset.
- User empathy to turn vague or contradictory feedback into priorities.
- Track record of launching ambitious products with distribution or commercial success.
- Intellectual curiosity and comfort learning independently.
- Ability to think creatively about risks and benefits of new technologies.
Nice to have
- 5+ years in product management with experience launching and scaling products.

- Hybrid policy: expect staff in an office at least 25% of the time.
- Visa sponsorship is available (with limitations by role/candidate).
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination.
- Required field of study: field relevant to the role.
- Annual compensation range: $305,000–$385,000 USD.
