Overview
Production Engineers at Jane Street are software developers who both build software and provide support for trading-critical systems.
What you'll do
- Develop OCaml software in project work.
- Participate in a support rotation to resolve live issues.
- Help investigate and resolve production incidents in critical systems.
- Own architecture and design of systems that monitor and support trading.
- Design and develop tools used for monitoring and support.
- Collaborate with application developers and other teams across the firm.
What you'll need
- Be a strong programmer who can write and read code well.
- Enjoy solving interesting problems.
- Be intellectually curious and motivated to learn.
- Work collaboratively and communicate clearly.
- Be able to stay clear and calm during production incidents.
