Production Engineer

Overview

Production Engineers at Jane Street are software developers who both build software and provide support for trading-critical systems.

What you'll do

• Develop OCaml software in project work.
• Participate in a support rotation to resolve live issues.
• Help investigate and resolve production incidents in critical systems.
• Own architecture and design of systems that monitor and support trading.
• Design and develop tools used for monitoring and support.
• Collaborate with application developers and other teams across the firm.

What you'll need

• Be a strong programmer who can write and read code well.
• Enjoy solving interesting problems.

• Be able to stay clear and calm during production incidents.
