Production Engineer

Overview

Lead the daily plant operations in the areas of EHS, quality and production, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with team members and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day operations to effectively deliver quality product and production schedule attainment, with strict adherence to EHS requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of Quality, Safety, Cost and People.
• Monitor and measure variances and implement approved actions.
• Participate in internal and regulatory audits and ensure follow-up actions.
• Initiate and document change controls as appropriate, and coordinate all change management activities in the area.
• Work with team members and the maintenance team to prioritize maintenance work.
• Ensure all operations are carried out as per the company's safety norms and adhere to company quality and EHS procedures and policies.
• Review, verify, and authorize HRA SWPs to ensure all hazards are identified, controls are implemented, and work complies with MPM Management System requirements.

What you'll need

• B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
• 5-9 years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Sound knowledge of DCS/MES.
• Process troubleshooting skills.
• Manpower management skills.
• Utilization of SAP and Lean tools.
