Proejct Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer (contractual) to execute and manage ELV and security system projects, covering CCTV, access control and controls, from installation through commissioning and handover.

What you'll do

• Execute and manage ELV and security system projects from installation through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, contractors and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure activities are completed within planned timelines.
• Track project progress and report status to Project Managers.
• Supervise installation, configuration and commissioning of CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems (ACS), video management systems (VMS), intrusion detection systems, building security solutions, and integrated security and control systems.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Conduct field testing and commissioning activities.
• Perform functional testing, loop checks, integration testing and site acceptance testing (SAT).
• Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning.
• Prepare testing reports and commissioning documentation.
• Review project drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Maintain installation records, commissioning reports, checklists and project documentation.
• Support preparation of handover documentation and customer acceptance records.
• Coordinate with consultants, system integrators, subcontractors and customers.
• Participate in site meetings and project review discussions.
• Support project managers in resource planning and site execution activities.
• Ensure adherence to project quality standards and EHS requirements.
• Follow site safety procedures and compliance guidelines.
• Support quality inspections and project audits.

What you'll need

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in project execution and project management of ELV/security systems.
• Hands-on experience in installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Experience working on commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centers, airports, hospitals, metro, or smart infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory technical skills: CCTV systems, access control systems (ACS), security control systems, video management systems (VMS), ELV project execution, testing and commissioning, site coordination, technical documentation, vendor management, project planning and tracking.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications in CCTV, ACS or ELV systems.
