Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer (IBMS) on a contractual, third-party payroll role based in Pune, responsible for installing, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining integrated building management and security systems across project sites.

What you'll do

• Execute and manage IBMS projects involving Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV surveillance systems, Access Control Systems (ACS) and integrated security systems.
• Perform site surveys, installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, method statements and as-built drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BMS, CCTV and ACS systems.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Support integration activities between various building automation and security platforms.
• Provide post-installation support and customer training when required.

What you'll need

• Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3-8 years of experience in IBMS projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong hands-on experience in CCTV systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in Access Control Systems (ACS).
• Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams and system architecture layouts.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
