Professional Services Engineer

Overview

The Professional Services Engineer is a customer-facing, billable individual contributor responsible for delivering specialized expertise and solutions for NiCE products and services.

What you'll do

• Implement, configure, and optimize AI-driven applications for enterprise contact centers.
• Provide technical consulting for AI, NLU, CRM integrations, APIs, and contact center features.
• Perform configuration and light programming for UI tweaks and required changes.
• Manage development, enhancement, and coordination of changes to existing applications.
• Collaborate on end-to-end project rollouts and sometimes act as Project Manager.
• Deliver business consulting during client consultations and align solutions to client needs.
• After training, mentor project teams and translate technical concepts into business terms.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience; 1+ years in digital channels or AI software apps preferred.
• Proven expertise in technical configuration and, if required, programming for AI and contact center technologies.
• Experience with CRM integrations, APIs, and ecosystem technologies.
• Knowledge of contact center best practices and KPIs.
• Familiarity with generative AI models, NLU techniques, and automation principles.
• Strong analytical mindset and professional communication skills.

• Work model: NiCE-FLEX hybrid (2 days office and 3 days remote each week).
