Overview

Junior DevOps Engineer for a Java + Angular + Oracle team, focused on CI/CD automation, environment management, observability, and supporting production operations.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and/or Jenkins for automated builds, tests, and releases.
• Containerize applications and services using Docker and support Kubernetes deployment patterns using Helm charts and manifests.
• Provision and configure environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management.
• Manage artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory) and coordinate dependency/release management.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Splunk, Grafana) and help triage incidents with diagnostic data.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist with incident response and root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years practical experience in DevOps/build/release engineering.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting (Bash); Python or another scripting language is a plus.
• Experience with Git and CI systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins) with basic pipeline authoring.
• Working knowledge of Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts (pods, services).
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven) and artifact repositories (Nexus).
