Project Engineer – Airside Civil | Trivandrum, Mangalore & Ahmedabad

Overview

Project Engineer (Civil) for airside works, responsible for progress monitoring, construction supervision, quality assurance, and timely delivery of civil infrastructure.

What you’ll do

• Review GFC drawings, specifications, method statements, shop drawings, submissions, and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure work-front availability and support achievement of agreed construction progress targets.
• Supervise on-site construction for runways, taxiways, aprons, shoulders, airside roads, pavement works, grading, drainage, and markings.
• Monitor progress and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve delays, constraints, resource shortages, and interface issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, operational teams, and other stakeholders to support delivery.
• Manage interfaces between civil works, AGL systems, utilities, airside systems, and operational airside areas.
• Support inspections, quality checks, compliance reviews, commissioning, snagging, testing, and handover.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• Overall 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision, infrastructure development, or project engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport airside infrastructure works (essential).
• Experience with construction, supervision, testing, and commissioning of runways, taxiways, aprons, airside pavements, drainage, and related infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of ICAO and DGCA, plus other relevant construction standards listed in the posting (e.g., IRC, MoRTH).
