Deputy Designer to Senior Designer -Highways BIM (AutoCad) - (UK/US/Middle East Projects)

Overview

Deputy to Senior Designer (Highways BIM) focused on delivering 2D drawings and 3D highway corridor and grading models using Civil 3D/AutoCAD, supporting road and land development projects.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage 2D drawings and 3D corridor models, surfaces, and alignments.
• Prepare plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for roads and associated infrastructure.
• Perform grading design and earthwork modeling for highways and site development.
• Create site layout plans, grading plans, and utility drawings including signs and marking and pavement layouts.
• Support drainage and utility modeling and coordinate underground services.
• Interpret design inputs with engineers and implement changes; support design modifications and updates.
• Assist with model reviews, QA/QC checks, and deliverable submissions while ensuring CAD/BIM compliance.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in highways/land development modeling.
• Autodesk Civil 3D exposure for grading, roads, drainage, and utilities.
• AutoCAD exposure.
• Basic understanding of BIM workflows and coordination tools.
• Strong expertise in highway corridor modeling and surface creation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in surface modeling and earthwork calculations.
