Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Design Engineer role focused on electrical control panel, automation integration, and electrical design deliverables for mining-related systems in Gurgaon.

What you'll do

• Prepare specifications for Electrical Control Panels and finalize technical aspects with vendors.
• Create C&S plant cabling layouts and related installation/tray/trench/earthing and lighting layouts.
• Test control panels, vibrating equipment, and crushing & screening machines.
• Incorporate PLC, HMI, AC drive, and soft starter with interlocking and fully automatic control.
• Develop electrical and automation design concepts, electrical load lists, scope matrices, and interconnection drawings.
• Prepare MV/LV switchgear and control panel schedules; calculate and size electrical equipment and cable schedules.
• Assist in troubleshooting onsite and offlsite and support tender document review and cost estimation.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of technical experience.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS panel schedule elements including system cabinet, marshalling cabinet, and IO list/assignment.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with E-Plan.
• Ability to review electrical and automation scope in tender documents.
