Draftsman – Architecture/Civil/MEP | Trivandrum, Mangalore & Ahmedabad

Overview

Draftsman (Architecture/Civil/MEP) for airport development projects, responsible for preparing and maintaining engineering and construction drawings to project standards and aviation requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare, revise, and update GFC drawings, shop drawings, construction drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Incorporate site changes, RFIs, technical review comments, and approved design revisions into project drawings.
• Review drawings for completeness, consistency, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, site teams, BIM specialists, consultants, and contractors to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, transmittals, and document control records.
• Support quantity take-offs and extraction of drawing-based information when required.

What you'll need

• Overall 5-10 years of experience in drafting and preparation of engineering drawings for infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or transportation projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport and aviation infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Experience preparing and updating GFC drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, Common Data Environments (CDE), and document management systems.
• Knowledge of airport infrastructure and building systems.
• Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• AutoCAD/Revit/Civil 3D/BIM modelling/drafting software certification is preferred.
