Senior Engineer-Mechanical

Overview

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems for large-scale semiconductor industrial projects and related pharmaceutical facility design.

What you'll do

• Review mechanical designs, equipment layouts, and technical drawings for cleanroom HVAC, exhaust, and piping systems.
• Review 3D models, P&IDs, and mechanical schematics for mechanical infrastructure.
• Perform sizing, pressure drop analysis, and flow rate calculations for mechanical pipelines and equipment.
• Review pipe stress analysis and dynamic simulations to validate system integrity under operational loads.
• Conduct clash detection and coordination with structural, electrical, and process engineering teams.
• Review CFD outputs related to HVAC pressure, velocity, and flow compliance for semiconductor cleanrooms.

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of experience in mechanical design engineering for pharmaceuticals or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 for review.
• Experience reviewing/designing cleanroom HVAC, semiconductor exhaust systems, and mechanical utilities (compressor, chiller, process vacuum, UPW).
• Knowledge of cleanroom class design involving ISO 3 to ISO 8.
• Ability to work with BIM methodologies for mechanical system coordination.
• Hands-on AI proficiency using Gen-AI tools such as Co-Pilot, Chat GPT, Claude or LLMs.
