Project Lead

Overview

Lead project delivery and client relationships for JLL's Project and Development Services team in Chennai, covering projects from pre-design through completion.

What you'll do

• Assemble and lead project teams and establish effective organisational structure and working procedures.
• Identify project objectives and allot sufficient budget to achieve optimal results and meet target profits.
• Manage and monitor the different stages of projects, from pre-design phase up to completion.
• Facilitate negotiations, analyses and meetings with authorities.
• Establish strong business relationships with clients, identifying and working around their needs and constraints.
• Represent client interests effectively throughout the whole project duration.
• Retain new business contacts and repeat business from new investors or landlord clients within an agreed time period.
• Promote JLL's business offerings to new prospects, key local landlord clients, business investor networks and industry landlord associations.
• Carry out consultations, analyses and assessments.
• Ensure effective delegation of responsibility and authority within teams.
• Create an environment where all team members are encouraged to contribute, and manage team members effectively.

What you'll need

• Degree in a relevant property-related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in design, construction and project management.
• In-depth understanding of local codes and legislation.
• Proven track record in project management.
• Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa and English.
• Ability to make tough decisions that resolve problems or improve operations.
• Ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders and see things from their perspective.
• Driven to succeed and to achieve challenging goals.
• Structured and organised approach to work.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate to achieve success.
