Project Manager- Electrical

Overview

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, engineering coordination, execution, commissioning and handover of mission-critical electrical and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects for its Data Centers team.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end electrical infrastructure project delivery, from concept and design review through FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing and final operational turnover, keeping to schedule, financial targets and quality benchmarks.
• Drive multidisciplinary coordination and stakeholder alignment across electrical, mechanical, civil, structural and controls disciplines, utility providers, clients, EPC contractors and equipment vendors.
• Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance by enforcing HSE protocols, managing project and commercial risks, and verifying installations meet utility interconnection requirements and IEC, IEEE and NFPA standards.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of electrical infrastructure project management experience.
• A demonstrable track record of directing complex, large-scale electrical engineering and construction projects within mission-critical data centers, power generation plants, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Strong technical expertise in EHV, HV, MV and LV distribution networks, utility grid substations, power system studies, UPS systems, standby diesel generators, and SCADA, BMS and EPMS.
• Proven ability in commercial management and project leadership, including contract negotiation, budget forecasting, change management, vendor administration, and cross-functional leadership across technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Nice to have

• Recognized industry credentials such as PMP or CDCP.
