Overview

Proposal Engineer - Thickening supports global techno-commercial proposal work for thickeners and clarifiers across mining and water treatment. The role focuses on proposal creation, cost estimation support, vendor review, and maintaining proposal follow-up documentation.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret customer enquiries, RFQs, and project specifications.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals for thickeners and clarifiers equipment globally.
• Select products and size equipment based on customer requirements.
• Conduct estimation and support engineering team cost, customer, and supplier databases.
• Carry out proposal follow-ups by updating and maintaining proposal logs and ISS tool.
• Clarify purchase order receipt and prepare order handover documentation for contract engineering.
• Review and evaluate vendor offers and support vendors with an optimum solution.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in proposal and cost estimation.
• Proposal management support within sales as a back-office function.
• Ability to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer timelines.
• Support proposal administration and coordinate review/edit of proposal input.
• B.E. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
