Purchase Engineer

Overview

Purchase Engineer responsible for RFQ execution, supplier coordination, and procurement-cycle support to ensure timely, cost-effective material supply.

What you'll do

• Execute RFQs using supplier database and sourcing knowledge.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships for material supply reliability.
• Negotiate with vendors to reduce payment terms, lead time, and costs.
• Resolve supplier issues related to supply, quality, service, and invoicing.
• Provide MIS reporting as required.
• Support internal sourcing strategies for cost savings and timely supplier quotes.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years minimum relevant work experience.
• Negotiation skills.
• MS Office and MIS reporting capability.
• Experience in internal communication for procurement activities.
• Knowledge of material expediting and material logistics.
• Supplier relationship management experience across the procurement cycle.
• Education: Diploma or equivalent degree.
