Senior Consultant, Data Analysis

Overview

Senior Consultant for Data Analysis in Northern Trust’s Trade and Settlements Operations, working on MIS, process control, and project activities globally.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and manage MIS information systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data.
• Support data and reporting migration to new tools to reduce manual effort.
• Analyze operational processes to identify automation opportunities that reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Implement project governance including planning, reporting, and resourcing.
• Gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical designs with stakeholders.
• Maintain Power BI dashboards and data models to deliver business insights.
• Act as a Power Platform SME to support adoption, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of related experience in BFSI/IT Services (banking client) is required.
• Proven track record in implementing projects on Power BI.
• Experience with new-age low/no-code tools such as Alteryx, UiPath, Power Platform, including Power Apps and Automate.
• Working knowledge of the project management life cycle phases from initiation to closure.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project implementation methodologies.
• Knowledge of UI/workflow orchestration, Power Query, Dataverse, SQL, and backend data sources.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
