Finance Data Analyst

Overview

Finance Data Analyst role focused on building advanced Power BI solutions to deliver next-generation financial reporting and insights, combining finance expertise with AI, DAX, SQL, and automation.

What you'll do

• Develop advanced Power BI dashboards with AI capabilities and automated insights.
• Optimize Power BI performance using expert DAX programming.
• Design financial data models and integrate multi-source data using SQL.
• Use Alteryx for automated data preparation and transformation.
• Maintain reporting quality through peer review processes and Power BI governance.
• Deliver monthly management reporting dashboards with variance analysis and KPI trend/risk/opportunity insights.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and proactively identify process improvements via automation.

What you'll need

• Expert-level Power BI development, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and AI features/Premium functionalities.
• Strong SQL skills for complex data extraction and manipulation.
• Basic Alteryx experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI governance, security, and administration.
• Strong finance background or extensive experience working with financial data for analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to escalate and remove roadblocks.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality assurance mindset.

Details

• Balanced working model with a minimum expectation of 3 days per week in-person.
• Must live within a commutable distance of the Bengaluru office.
• Must have the right to work and live in India.
