Python Developer

About the role

We're looking for a Python Developer (Vibe Coder) who thrives at the intersection of solid engineering and AI-powered development. You'll build scalable backend systems and APIs using Python, but with a twist—you'll leverage AI coding assistants like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT to ship production-ready features at speed without sacrificing quality. This is for builders who love moving fast, shipping real products, and aren't afraid to let AI amplify their productivity.

What you'll do

• Build scalable backend features and REST APIs using Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Harness AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini, Windsurf) to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality standards
• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into production applications and build AI agents, automation workflows, or RAG systems
• Debug, optimize, and refactor existing systems with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Prototype new features rapidly and iterate closely with founders and product teams
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that other developers can build on

What we're looking for

• Strong Python programming fundamentals—you can write clean, efficient code and understand design patterns
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar backend frameworks
• Comfortable and experienced using AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, or Gemini in your daily workflow)
• Solid grasp of REST APIs, databases, Git, and Linux—you know how to debug and solve problems independently
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to review, critique, and improve AI-generated code instead of blindly accepting it
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel)
• Background building AI agents, automation workflows, MCP servers, or RAG applications
• Personal projects or open-source contributions that showcase your coding style
• Experience with React or TypeScript for full-stack work
