Overview

Assistant Vice President – Python Developer (hands-on individual contributor) to build and maintain Python-based automation workflows for MUFG Securities Asia technology initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python automation solutions for operational and financial workflows.
• Build automation workflows using Atlas (automation engine) and enable workflow deployment into Glyph (web UI layer).
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems via APIs, including data validation, exception handling, and logging.
• Monitor automation workflows and platform health, and perform issue resolution, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
• Support incident investigation and root cause analysis (RCA) to maintain production stability.
• Prepare technical design documents, runbooks, and operational guides aligned to IT governance.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of experience in software development or automation engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python for building automation services and backend workflows.
• Hands-on experience with workflow/process automation platforms (e.g., ProcessMaker or equivalent).
• Proven experience replacing Excel macros, Power Query, and EUC tools with scalable automation solutions.
• Experience in system integration, API development, and data processing.
• Understanding of logging, monitoring, exception handling, and secure/resilient application design.
