QA Analyst

Overview

Conduct testing of highly complex software applications under general supervision, supporting manual and automation planning, test execution, defect tracking and issue resolution.

What you'll do

• Understand and review requirements, create test plans and contribute to test estimations.
• Plan manual and automation testing.
• Plan, author and execute test cases for planned releases.
• Support and perform test iterations, track defects, report test results and coordinate with the team.
• Work closely with Developers, Test Leads/Managers and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain test-result documentation to assist in debugging and modifying software.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
• Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Seek necessary managerial support to discuss and flag risks and mitigation plans.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience as an individual contributor working under close supervision.
• Experience with manual testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with UAT for IRT, ECOA and medical devices.
• Good hands-on experience in Oracle/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with HP ALM, JIRA and SynapseRT.
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Clinical Information Management or equivalent qualifications.
• Good strong understanding of SDLC/STLC processes.
• Good strong understanding of the defect lifecycle.
• Good understanding of Clinical Data Management.

Nice to have

• Experience in any one of ETL tool and concepts.
• Good to have automation exposure/experience.
• SDTM standard knowledge is desirable.
