QA Automation Engineer II

Overview

QA Automation Engineer II responsible for expanding automated testing and supporting AI-assisted quality engineering across a SaaS platform.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and platform components.
• Build automated customer journey tests for critical user workflows.
• Enhance automation frameworks for reliability, maintainability, and coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Test AI-powered product capabilities and validate application outputs.
• Analyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate on defect resolution.
• Improve testing practices and efficiency through AI-assisted initiatives.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of experience in software quality assurance, automation testing, or quality engineering.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest.
• Working knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Robot Framework.
• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or MCP.
• Knowledge of AI model evaluation, RAG architectures, vector databases, or MLOps.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks or synthetic user simulation systems.
