Senior Engineer, Test Automation

Overview

Senior Engineer, Test Automation responsible for building and advancing automated testing infrastructure for regulated software platforms. The role emphasizes Playwright-based testing, GxP validation, CI/CD quality gates, and AI-assisted testing approaches.

What you'll do

• Build and improve Playwright-based end-to-end test automation across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Author and maintain release validation documentation supporting 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP compliance.
• Evaluate AI-assisted testing techniques, including LLM-based test generation and failure triage.
• Integrate and maintain quality gates across CI/CD pipelines.
• Write tests alongside engineers during active feature development.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and share testing knowledge with teammates.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software or QA engineering experience with meaningful test automation experience.
• Strong proficiency with Playwright and automation framework development.
• Experience contributing to or authoring traceability matrices and validation summary reports.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, GCP, or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to read production code, debug across the stack, and build test infrastructure.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in LLM-assisted test generation and failure analysis.

Details

• Remote within the United States.
• Less than 10% travel required.
• Expected salary: $130,000–$180,000 USD per year.
