Salesforce Solution Engineer (Developer)

Overview

Build and deliver Salesforce solutions for government stakeholders, covering Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, testing, and release management.

What you'll do

• Develop bulkified Apex triggers, asynchronous processes, and Platform Events.
• Build Lightning Web Components and Experience Cloud pages and portals.
• Design REST/SOAP and MuleSoft or ESB integrations with authentication, retry, and error handling.
• Write Apex unit tests and Jest tests that verify application behavior.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies with government product owners.
• Translate user stories into technical designs and collaborate with delivery teams.
• Support Salesforce DX, Git, code review, CI/CD, documentation, and deployment processes.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Two full Salesforce implementations delivered to production.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL optimization, bulkification, and governor-limit management.
• Lightning Web Components and modern JavaScript experience.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data, security, and declarative automation using Flow.
• Experience with REST/JSON APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT bearer flows, and Named Credentials.
• Bachelor's degree and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. federal security clearance.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• OmniStudio experience with OmniScript, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
• Active security clearance.
• Federal or public sector Salesforce delivery experience.

• Remote within the United States.
• Travel required up to 10%.
• Annual salary: $106,000–$176,000 USD.
