Senior Software Engineer, Platform/Backend

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for SentiLink’s Platform/Backend team, building and enhancing an API platform that powers its products.

What you'll do

• Own a large section of the codebase.
• Lead technical direction and guide the team toward project goals and best practices.
• Design and build API-based decisioning products.
• Code, test, debug, document, and maintain platform and products.
• Partner with product management to deliver existing and new products via agile processes.
• Write automated tests and troubleshoot production and product issues.
• Ensure services meet SLA requirements with on-call rotation.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products.
• Experience building API-based products using Python, Golang, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., Postgres) and efficient query writing.
• Familiarity with Docker and AWS technologies.
• Familiarity with fintech or financial services and scrum/agile environments.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and must live in the United States.
