Overview

Build full-stack product experiences for OnePay's @Work platform, supporting daily interactions with money, earnings, and pay schedules.

What you'll do

• Lead technical design and implementation for @Work platform projects.
• Set architectural standards for code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Partner with product, design, and operations teams on product strategy and delivery.
• Optimize systems for reliability, security, and scalability.
• Own technical decisions while balancing rapid delivery with sustainable solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or data-intensive services.
• Hands-on full-stack engineering skills.
• Backend architecture experience.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience designing or working on reliable, secure, and high-performance systems.
• Clear communication and a collaborative working style.
• Initiative, growth mindset, and willingness to learn and contribute as a team player.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, earned wage access, or regulated consumer finance domains.
• Familiarity with Node, TypeScript, NestJS, microservices, Kubernetes, AWS, React Native, Claude Code, or Cursor.
