Software Engineer, Credit Card

Overview

Build and operate backend infrastructure for OnePay's co-branded credit card product, including secure integrations, APIs, and real-time transaction systems.

What you'll do

• Design backend services for the co-branded credit card product.
• Build integrations with partner systems.
• Architect secure APIs and event-driven systems for sensitive financial data.
• Partner with risk, compliance, and platform teams on regulatory and security requirements.
• Own reliability and performance for real-time credit transaction systems.
• Make system design decisions balancing scalability, security, and delivery speed.
• Mentor engineers and improve code quality, testing, and operational practices.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional backend or distributed systems development experience.
• Experience operating production-grade APIs and microservices in a regulated or high-compliance environment.
• Proficiency in Node.js or similar backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Understanding of data security and PCI compliance or similar standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
