QA Engineer

Overview

QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of SPAN’s mobile applications through automated and manual testing, and by working closely with software, device, and hardware teams.

What you'll do

• Test mobile applications on iOS and Android to find bugs, defects, and usability issues.
• Collaborate on creating test plans, test cases, and tooling for automated and manual testing.
• Build and maintain automated regression tests using Detox and React Native.
• Run manual tests on mobile devices across device types and OS versions.
• Run manual tests on panels across SKUs and firmware versions.
• Document defects, issues, and enhancement requests clearly.

What you'll need

• BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science (or industry-equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Mobile testing experience on iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience testing firmware, hardware/IoT products in addition to software.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and automated testing.
• Experience with Android Studio and XCode.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and GitHub (e.g., CircleCI, Docker).
