Overview
QA Engineering Team Lead responsible for delivering high-quality software through test planning, execution, and automation.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases across functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Lead test automation efforts by developing and enhancing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define effective testing strategies based on requirements.
- Review test cases, automation scripts, and test results to ensure coverage, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor QA team members with coaching and technical guidance; contribute to QA process improvements.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance focused on functional and automated testing.
- English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years in a formal people leadership role or a combination of people management and prior Technical Lead ownership, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and resolve testing challenges.
Details
- Role type: Full-Time.
- Work mode: Remote from India.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with 4–5 hours overlap daily with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
- Base salary: $29,000–$36,000 USD per year.
