QD Build Engineer, Manager/Senior Manager, Fixed Income Division

Overview

Manager/Senior Manager role to support Fixed Income Division (FID) trading desks by building pricing and risk models in production and improving build & release, integration, and testing infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Build pricing and risk models in the production system for FID trading desks (Exotics Rates, Hybrids, Inflation, Rates Options & FX).
• Provide daily support for pricing requests and risk management issues.
• Enhance automated build & release, integration, and testing infrastructure for pricing and risk modelling libraries.
• Maintain and improve build, test, and configuration automation across the full lifecycle for large C++, Java, and Scala codebases.
• Support code quality and performance monitoring tooling (e.g., C++ sanitizers, memory profilers, debug tools) on Linux and Windows.
• Assist with tooling for architecture and coding standards, C++ standards modernisation, and dependency/obsolescence management.

What you'll need

• Modern C++ development experience with C++17 desired and C++11 minimum.
• Experience with C++ build tools including Bazel, CMake, Premake, make, Visual Studio/MSBuild, and build acceleration tools such as BuildBuddy, IncrediBuild, distcc, and ccache.
• Experience as a build engineer in Linux and Windows with dependency management and build-time/run-time debugging.
• Experience managing Jenkins job configurations.
• Experience with shell and Python scripting for build management and artifact promotion/propagation.
• Experience with static C++ code quality/analysis tools and code coverage tooling (e.g., Sonar, cpplint, cppcheck, clang-tidy).
• Experience with C++ dynamic code quality tools such as Valgrind, sanitizers, and profilers.
