Overview
Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for planning, coordinating and executing testing activities for .NET web and Windows applications hosted in cloud environments, including test automation, defect management and quality analysis.
What you'll do
- Prepare detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Plan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs.
- Build and execute automation scripts using the approved tool set.
- Organize testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to identify system requirements.
- Review debugging process results.
- Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
- Analyze the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies.
What you'll need
- At least 5+ years of experience as a .NET technology and application testing professional.
- Experience with Selenium with .NET, SOAPUI, Postman and JMETER tools.
- Proficiency in testing .NET web and Windows applications hosted on cloud environments.
- Good working experience in test management, automation, planning and execution.
- Experience with AI development toolkits such as Claude and Co-Pilot.
- Knowledge of various test design patterns.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and methodologies.
- Experience with the .NET tech stack and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications and development practices, with Azure preferable.
- Ability to track and manage project tasks and deliverables to successful closure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and/or experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
- ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Knowledge of the travel industry and travel-related technologies.
