SDET, Cloud Solutions Testing

Overview

SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) for Cloud Solutions Testing with an onsite expectation to work primarily from an HPE office.

What you'll do

• Design, execute, automate, and deploy long-running, scale, reliability, and security test cases and report results.
• Utilize AI across the SDLC and apply AI tools/generative platforms to streamline workflows and analyze data.
• Guide functional QA teams and manage/expand relationships with QA partners for test and automation.
• Review and evaluate designs and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Own the automation strategy, build automation libraries, and use existing tools for feature testing and sustaining processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Customer Support, and Platform engineering.
• Maintain multiple product configurations and mentor new hires.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology.
• Experience with test strategy, test planning, and test execution.
• Strong automation background to own automation strategy and build a test framework.
• Ability to integrate AI platforms into operational workflows for productivity and data-driven decisions.
• Troubleshooting skills for Cloud and On-Prem environments and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Programming proficiency in Python/Java/Go and Selenium.
