Senior Staff SQA Engineer

Overview

Senior Staff SQA Engineer for Regression QA/Automation on Prisma SD-WAN, validating networking and security features and releases.

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end regression validation across SD-WAN networking and security features and releases.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation to improve regression efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, PLM, and Technical Support to support product quality and release readiness.
• Analyze regression failures, troubleshoot complex issues, and work to resolve root causes with engineering teams.
• Identify test coverage gaps and improve regression strategy and execution process.
• Explore AI/agentic AI-driven testing and debugging for improved engineering productivity.
• Support customer escalations by providing technical analysis, reproduction, and validation.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of QA and regression testing experience for networking and/or security products.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of L2/L3 networking and the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols including ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, and IPSec.
• Hands-on VPN testing experience including IPSec and SSL VPN.
• Experience testing enterprise routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Automation/testing experience using Python and REST APIs, including framework maintenance.
