QA Engineer III (Python, Automation Test, UI Rest API)

Overview

QA Engineer III role focused on validating Web GUI and REST API features for Mist Cloud, including automation and regression testing.

What you'll do

• Validate Web GUI and REST API features in Mist Cloud.
• Understand Mist UI and API architecture to improve design robustness.
• Create defect and enhancement tickets and work closely with the Engineering team.
• Support releases using staging smoke tests and production sanity tests.
• Execute and automate regression test cases.
• Recreate customer issues and collaborate with Engineering for resolution.
• Review customer-reported defects with the Customer Success team to enhance test coverage.

What you'll need

• 7 to 10 years of related experience.
• BE/ME/MS in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong programming fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python (explicitly mentioned).
• Ability to communicate project status and identify risk.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Work mode: Hybrid, averaging 2 days per week from an HPE office.
