Software Quality Automation Engineer – Python & Playwright

Overview

Software Test Engineer II focused on building and maintaining Python-based test automation frameworks and web/API automation using Playwright.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python test automation frameworks.
• Build robust web application automation using Playwright with Python.
• Create reusable automation libraries, utilities, fixtures, and test-data components.
• Develop automated tests for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end workflows.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Troubleshoot failures and improve framework reliability through root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 5–12 years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, software development, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, etc.).
• Hands-on Python programming for clean, modular, reusable, production-quality automation code.
• Hands-on Playwright automation experience using Python (or significant experience with modern browser automation frameworks).
• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD using Jenkins (or equivalent platforms).
• Hands-on experience with Python testing frameworks such as pytest (or equivalent).
