Senior Software Engineer in Test

Overview

Senior Software Engineer in Test responsible for automation that helps prevent production defects.

What you'll do

• Own test automation, quality strategy, and deployment validation.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to plan and define test strategies.
• Design and build scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright across UI, API, and integrations.
• Run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including parallelization and test data management.
• Provide real-time product quality visibility via dashboards and reporting.
• Use LLMs (e.g., Claude) to accelerate test creation and coverage, validating outputs with engineering judgment.

What you'll need

• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and distributed teams.
• Deep understanding of Agile development (Scrum and/or ShapeUp) and modern quality engineering practices.
• Automation-first mindset that eliminates repetitive manual work.
• Hands-on experience with Azure environments and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/ADO).
• Proven experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks for modern web applications.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
