Software Test Engineer

Overview

Software Test Engineer to develop and run automated test cases for Intune features across Web UI, mobile, and Windows devices.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases for Intune features across Web UI, Android/iOS mobile, and Windows devices.
• Perform functional, regression, compatibility, UX, and end-to-end testing across platforms and OS versions.
• Configure and validate devices enrolled under Intune compliance and policy scenarios.
• Troubleshoot test failures using logs, UI traces, and system configurations.
• Contribute to build verification tests and sprint sign-off validations.
• Collaborate with developers and SMEs to identify root causes and drive defect fixes.
• Use Azure DevOps to enable unattended, scalable CI/CD test execution and report insights with Power BI/ADO reports.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in SDET/automation.
• Strong scripting/coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
• TypeScript and C# are mandatory.
• Hands-on automation experience with Playwright (mandatory) and optionally Selenium/Appium (last preference).
• Working knowledge of Android, iOS, and Windows 10/11 environments.
• Knowledge of EMM or similar device workflows.
• CI/CD and version control experience with Azure DevOps and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with Graph API, backend validation, and service-level testing.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, ADB tools, Xcode tools, and Wireshark.
• Familiarity with CMSherlock/Geneva Synthetics or similar automation tools.
• Exposure to Intune, Endpoint security, MDM/EMM/UEM platforms.
• Basic understanding of LLM/Copilot assisted automation or self-healing frameworks.
